Day 9 The Healing Challenge

Day 9: Healing Challenge

Praise the King of Kings

A Praise of David.

Psalm 145  NKJV

I will [a]extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever.

Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is [b]unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.

I am currently in Warri, Delta State for the coronation of the New Olu of Warri and I can’t fully articulate what I have experienced. I would do so at another time.

The Lord had told me ahead of time that the topic for Day 9 was “PRAISE” and I wasn’t sure what to write but after todays experience all I want to do is praise the King of Kings.

I watched the coronation of a King today and it was so beautiful. What made it even more beautiful was because of the journey to the throne. This story is a real life depiction of the Lion King. His Father was King i.e. Olu of Warri but after He died, his uncle ascended the throne.

In 2018 My sister friend, Pastor Isi Igenegba had a dream that Prophet Tomi Arayomi was to go to Warri to minister and she called him and told him. It wasn’t easy for him to say yes because He had just returned to the UK from Nigeria but He asked God and God said He should go and so he obeyed. When He got to Lagos and was supposed to go to Warri, the air space was closed and so they couldnt get a flight to Warri but a business man called and offered them His private jet and they went. All the while Prophet Tomi wasnt sure of why God sent him to Warri. Upon getting to Warri while ministering He saw a man at the back and He prophecied over Him. Without knowing who he was or anything about Him, He said you are the son of a King and He saw a vision of the crown being placed on His head. He said this was the reason He came to Warri. This was 2018. The prophecy is available on YouTube.

Today the 21st day of August, 2021 the 21st Olu of Warri was crowned the King of Warri. Also apparently the King is supposed to be blind folded and pick a sword which would have the new name He would be called. The sword the King picked had His Fathers name and therefore the King is no longer known as Omofa Tola Emiko but now known as Ogiame Atuwatse III.  Oh this is a whole sermon on His own. God speak to me so much about our identity and authority as the Son (emphasis on Son is intended I will explain later) of the King of Kings today.

I think what makes this story more powerful for me is that the New King’s Father was a believer. Sometime ago I remember seeing letters that His daughter posted on her Whatsapp story and it was so evident that He LOVED (emphasis intended) the LORD with all his heart, might and soul. I wondered how the Olu of Warri was a strong believer because for one Warri Kingodm is one of the most prominent thrones in Nigeria but secondly because I know how deeply traditional our culture is especially the previous generation. I understand that His father denounced traditional rites publicly. God is King and today He has honoured His Fathers legacy.

What even makes this story even more powerful is how pivotal Warri is to our nation Nigeria spiritually as the Lord has been speaking to me so much about Warri which I would share later. I am super excited and encouraged that every word God has spoken over Nigeria will surely come to pass because this story is evidence that Gods word will come to pass. We shall see the New Nigeria.

Today when the King walked into the coronation hall and also when He was crowned King, the entire place erupted with joy. The people, the townsmen were so happy and singing and dancing and praising their King.

Oh this should make you so happy. God set up this healing challenge for you and I so we can receive our healing. He wouldn’t take us on this challeneg if we were not going to be healed. Also all the promises of healing and scriptures of healing that we have been reading are His prohecies over us and if He has said we are healed then we are healed. Do we wait till the physical manifestation of the healing to praise Him or do we go ahead and praise Him believing that what He said He would do.

Today Praise God like you have never done because just like the Olu of Warri you will surely see the fulfillment of His promises and prohecies towards you .

Task:

  1. Search for scriptures on praising God and say them out loud.
  2. Search for praise songs and praise God like you have never done before.
  3. Wear a celebration outfit today and praise God like you have already received your healing on the hallelujah challenge at 11.59 pm tonight on YouTube or Instagram. Follow Pastor @nathanielblow on Instagram to participate.
  4. Praise Song recommendations : Be Praised (feat. Aaron Moses & Naomi Raine) – Maverick City ; Yahweh (feat. Chandler Moore & Osby Berry) – Maverick City | TRIBL ; Housefires – Blessings // feat. Nate Moore (Official Music Video) ; Ever Be (LIVE) – kalley | We Will Not Be Shaken

  1. God is awesome! I wasn’t going to watch the coronation because my heart was heavy for him, I thought he was going to be sucked into fetish traditions. But then I heard that he was praising God and went to watch, it was glorious! It’s interesting to learn how the Olu selects his title, this was really God at work. Btw, Olu Atuwatse I was also a Christian. It’s so amazing to see God’s hand at work in all this. May God bless our Ogiame and keep him firmly in his love. And thank you so much for your post.
