One day last year (around October), while I was having quiet time the Father said He wanted to heal me from the loss of my daughter. I was shocked and afraid because in my recollection this has never happened. Then He reminded me that I had a miscarriage in 2009 . I broke down crying and I could feel him healing me. I was completely in awe of God because for one I didn’t know I needed healing but most importantly I didn’t know she was a girl. I was only a few weeks pregnant as I was still in my first trimester.
He healed me. Why I am also happy is that I remember watching a movie, a true story once “Heaven is for real” and a little boy went to Heaven and when he came back to earth, He told his mum that he met his sister. His mum was also shocked because she had a miscarriage when the baby was a few weeks old and she didn’t even know it was a girl. So for me, it means I will see my daughter again in Heaven one day. I’m so excited to meet her and spend eternity with her and by Gods Grace all my other children.
Why am I sharing this? Well with all this talk in the world about abortions or no abortions it’s is important for us to know that a baby that is a few weeks old has a soul and has a purpose in life regardless of how the baby is conceived, even in the most horrific circumstances. A child may be a mistake to a human being but a child can never be a mistake to God. While we live in a falling world and God never meant for anyone to be conceived through horrific circumstances, He has seen ahead what the choices of human beings will do and so He has a plan to make all things work out for good for those who love Him regardless of how horrific the situation of conception is. In Jeremiah 1: 5 He says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” ……
Jesus His Son wasn’t conceived in the best of “circumstances” according to man’s standards. Many would have and probably still call Him an illegitimate child but it was the most perfect conception in Gods eyes. God sees the soul and not the method of conception.
Before you take that decision on whether to keep your child or not, remember that this child has a soul and one day when you get to Heaven you will meet your child again. For those who have in the past terminated their pregnancy, this post is not to condemn you. Jesus died for your sins and He wants to heal and comfort you. He doesn’t want to punish you. He wants to show you how much He loves you. You will surely meet you child in Heaven. I remember recently one of my mentees who has had an abortion in the past but has been forgiven told me she had a dream and met her daughter in the dream. He will still bless you with children. My friend Tito has written her own journey in her book Royalty of how God has forgiven, healed & restored her . He wants to do the same for you too. For those who are about to make the choice of whether to keep your baby or not, I pray you give your child a chance at life no matter the circumstances. Gods Grace is sufficient for you.
